Hello, this is Sandy, founder of The Pooch Club. I would like to share how I started:

in 2021, me and my family welcome Coco (6 months old poodle) to our home. As a first time pet parent, everything was so new to me and there are just so many different pet products in the market to choose from. However, unlike products for human consumption, there are no a set of comprehensive and dedicated laws and regulations monitoring the segment which is very upsetting.

After extensive research, from learning about the ingredients in the products, testing them, liaising with the brands, and to studying about the fundamentals of canine nutrition: I have discovered many fun and interesting dog treats which are formulated with healthy ingredients and nutrients; and decided to bring them into Hong Kong. Unlike the old fashion, dull and tasteless dog biscuits, I wanted to have something more special in my shop: healthy, fun brand ideas and colourful packaging, in order to bring joy and add values to paw parents' journey with their furry babies.

All of the products in our selections are produced in certified and/or licensed manufacturers. I work closely with the brands and source the products directly from them to ensure they are genuine and of the highest quality. Their products are verified with veterinary certificates or by renowned authorities such as USDA, UK Trading Standard and HACCP

Other than dog treats, I am currently expanding The Pooch Club to other segment of the pet product industry so there will be more other interesting brands coming soon. Stay tuned!
